I have experience in helping students that are looking into specialized industries. Continuous learning to stay knowledgeable on the requirements and industry growth trends over the next ten years. Fields of interest to consider are AI, Construction Management, Aviation, Environmental Engineering, Cyber Security, CIS, and Finance.
Taking assessments will help highlight your natural abilities. This will give us perspective on the right matches for you to succeed and thrive.
I will provide guidance and resources for those interested in non-traditional pathways, such as Career & Technical Education programs.
College Visits
Visiting colleges is part of my job and I love it. I add to my list each season and I’m happy to share what I have learned. By going on college visits I gain insight, knowledge and connections that can benefit you when working with me. Nice to meet you, I’m Jamie from Sammamish, WA, and Founder of College Copilot. Before making a career shift into college advising I spent 26 years in the marketing and branding industry. I have a Bachelors in Business from Miami University, Ohio, a College Counseling Certificate from UCSD, and a few other certificates from Dale Carnegie. Part of being an IEC (Independent Education Consultant) means I get to work with students that are “still figuring it out” as much as those students that have it “dialed in.”
I’m eager to see what my clients are naturally inclined to do, and help them find where they can shine doing it.
